MDM 2006 workshops provide an opportunity to discuss and explore
emerging areas of mobile data management with a group of students,
researchers, and practitioners.Workshops may focus on any aspect of
mobile computing and database, established concerns or new ideas.
The goal of the workshop is to share understandings and experiences,
to foster research communities, to learn from each other, and to envision
future directions. 5 Workshops will be held on either Tuesday, May
9 or Saturday, May 13.
Accepted workshop papers will not be incorporated into the main MDM
2006 Conference Proceedings. However, they will be published in the
Conference Supplement that will be circulated to attendees at the
conference. In addition, they are planned to be published as IEEE
digital library after the conference.
