We at UBI-LAB are working on realizing such a world by developing fundamental and application software. We have created Smart Furniture, a device where computers are embedded into the furniture itself. Placing such a device within an area with no network connectivity or service will enrich the area, which we call Smart Space, with network connectivity and services.
